Obesity is a very sensitive topic. Patients who come to us have often struggled with it for most of their lives. Often, the hardest part is taking the first step. As the Director of Bariatric Surgery of Mercy St Louis, I love that I get to play apart in the patient's journey in bettering their health and their life.
