Shereece Wallace, AGPCNP-BC, is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner who practices with Dr. Carlos Yu within the neurology specialty. 'The partnership between Dr. Yu and I is unique and tailored so we, as a team, can provide the best care to our patients, ' Shereece says. Shereece's personal experiences inspired her interest in the brain and neurological conditions. 'The human brain is fascinating and I have been at the bedside as a registered nurse and as a granddaughter while taking care of my patients and my grandmother, who suffered from neurological conditions, ' Shereece explains. Shereece is from Alton, Ill. and is a volunteer for the Madison County Medical Reserve Corps and working towards her certification as a Community Emergency Response Team volunteer. She enjoys exercising, learning Spanish, and spending time with her family and friends. Shereece's practice is part of BJC Medical Group, a well-established, multi-specialty physician group.
