Description
Shelly Hulsey, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife who cares for patients 13 years and older. She provides care throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Shelly conducts women’s health services, including well-woman exams, vaccines, infertility screening, contraception counseling, family planning, and the placement and removal of birth control. She also treats gestational diabetes, incontinence, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). As a nurse, Shelly knew she wanted to become a midwife the first time she saw a birth. Shelly believes that midwifery balances science, compassion, and trust, and standing beside women during their most powerful moments is her purpose.
